"The important one is that you've got the right to a trial if you're accused of anything, and any non-citizen that hurts you is going to land in much more trouble than they would've before. You can also apply for an extended travel permit and to have your living quarters swept and cleared of bugs, but in my experience not a lot of the latter requests get acted on. They tend to get stuck somewhere in the bureaucracy or at the end of our to-do lists when there's investigations and other stuff ongoing."
